Lipotech’s Ballenger Septum Chisel consists of a straight handle, a fancy short tapered surface, and a U-shaped shaft that closes with a V-shaped sharp cutting edge. It features an overall length of 16cm. It is particularly designed for use during procedures involving the nasal septum. This chisel corrects a deviated septum by reshaping or removing portions of the septal cartilage. The V-shaped edge is useful for smoothing rough edges of cartilage or bone after removal.
